By standardizing environment variable naming to include the PUBLIC prefix, Ihgit aligned the example configuration with current best practices, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and streamlining deployment for authenticated routes. This update brought env.example and the authenticated-routes-firebase configuration into sync, making onboarding and setup more reliable for other developers. Working primarily with TypeScript, React, and Firebase, Ihgit demonstrated careful attention to project conventions and commit hygiene, addressing a subtle but impactful bug that enhanced consistency and maintainability across front end environments.
