Worked on the OpenRailAssociation/osrd repository to enhance the Operational Studies interface by introducing Spanish language support, focusing on improving accessibility for Spanish-speaking users. Leveraged front end development and UI/UX design skills to integrate new translations into the existing internationalization framework, using JSON for managing UI strings. Translation progress was managed incrementally through Weblate, ensuring that updates were tracked and reviewed for quality assurance. The approach maintained minimal impact on the user interface while providing clear translation provenance. This work laid the foundation for broader localization efforts, addressing both study management and infrastructure components within the application’s operational studies module.
