Ilee enhanced the edx/public-dockerfiles repository by improving the CI/CD Docker image publishing workflow and cleaning up unused production images. They updated the workflow to include cms-dev and lms-dev images in production pushes and refined image naming conventions to ensure accurate builds and deployments. Using Docker, YAML, and GitHub Actions, Ilee automated the process to reduce the risk of outdated or misnamed images reaching production. The cleanup of unnecessary images contributed to a more maintainable and organized image registry. Over the month, Ilee’s work focused on deployment automation, repository hygiene, and strengthening the reliability of containerized production workflows.
