In February 2025, Inuenc developed a dual-mode card, What Must Be Done, for the magefree/mage repository, expanding the game’s strategic options. The card’s implementation in Java introduced two distinct effects: a board wipe targeting all artifacts and creatures, and a graveyard interaction that returns a historic permanent to the battlefield, adding counters if it is a creature. Inuenc also addressed a gameplay issue by fixing Profound Journey’s targeting logic, allowing it to interact correctly with battles. This work demonstrated depth in card game logic and game development, ensuring seamless integration with the existing card-definition framework and improving overall gameplay flow.

February 2025: Implemented What Must Be Done, a dual-mode card for magefree/mage, delivering two-mode effects: (1) destroy all artifacts and creatures, and (2) return a historic permanent from the graveyard to the battlefield, with additional counters if the permanent is a creature. Also fixed a bug where the 'Profound Journey' card could not target a battle, improving card interaction and gameplay flow. The change enhances strategic depth and aligns with the roadmap for utility card expansion.
