In March 2026, Demir contributed a Turkish localization update to the pretix/pretix repository, focusing on enhancing accessibility for Turkish-speaking users. Working primarily in Python, Demir updated 2,488 out of 6,257 strings, raising Turkish translation coverage to 39.7 percent. The approach involved leveraging Weblate and established translation workflows to ensure scalable and traceable updates across the application. This work improved the user experience for Turkish attendees by making the interface more accessible and usable. While no bugs were fixed during this period, Demir demonstrated solid localization and translation skills, contributing to pretix’s internationalization efforts in a targeted release.
