Worked on enhancing the OsmAnd repository by updating Hungarian localization through Weblate, achieving 98.1% translation coverage without modifying the underlying codebase. Focused exclusively on improving the internationalization layer, this effort streamlined the onboarding of localized content and directly improved the user experience for Hungarian-speaking users. Leveraged skills in localization and translation management, utilizing Weblate as the primary platform for collaborative string updates. The work aligned with broader localization strategies, supporting scalability to additional languages and ensuring consistency across the application. No bug fixes or new features beyond the localization update were introduced during this period, reflecting a targeted engineering focus.
