Worked on the safedep/vet repository to enhance CI/CD reliability and improve package management logic. Addressed a bug in the npmIsUrlFollowsPathConvention function by refining package name resolution and implementing robust URL validation against both configured and user-provided trusted URLs. Updated and expanded test coverage to ensure the new validation logic performed as intended. Upgraded the GitHub Actions workflow to use actions/upload-artifact v4.6.0, increasing the reliability and capabilities of artifact uploads within CI pipelines. The work leveraged Go and YAML, with a focus on backend development, GitHub Actions, and URL validation to reduce deployment risks and improve release stability.
