Worked on the derailed/cilium repository to enhance documentation around ingress annotations, specifically focusing on the new ingress.cilium.io/request-timeout feature. The contribution involved writing detailed reStructuredText (rst) documentation to clarify how per-request HTTP timeouts can be configured, how operator flags interact with these settings, and what default behaviors apply when no timeout is specified. This work aimed to improve user understanding and reduce misconfigurations by providing clear guidance and linking documentation directly to relevant code changes. The effort demonstrated strong documentation skills and attention to detail, supporting both user inquiries and the maintainability of the project’s ingress configuration features.
