Focused on shell scripting, the developer identified and resolved an issue where a stale variable could lead to incorrect process identification, potentially causing runtime errors in mounting workflows. By resetting the 'name' variable in the get_pid function, the patch improved reliability and reduced the risk of stale values affecting PID handling.
