Worked on the RetroAchievements/RAWeb repository, focusing on backend and API development using PHP and Laravel. Delivered an enhancement to the API_GetComments endpoint, enabling clients to sort comments by submission time with a flexible sortOrder parameter, which improved moderation workflows and data analytics. Addressed a leaderboard data integrity issue by updating the API to count only visible leaderboards, excluding hidden ones, and implemented automated tests to ensure accuracy. Demonstrated a disciplined approach to API design and testing, with clear commit messaging and adherence to repository conventions, resulting in more reliable data for both client dashboards and API consumers.
