In February 2025, Isaiah Alcayde developed a custom 404 Not Found page for the acm-ucr/CSE-AI-resources repository, focusing on enhancing user navigation when encountering missing pages. Using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, Isaiah implemented a prominent 404 heading, a clear message, and a 'Back To Home' button that directs users to the site’s root, reducing friction on broken routes. The work emphasized front-end UX polish and accessibility, with disciplined version control and validated integration across the project. While no bugs were fixed, the feature improved navigation flow, supporting future accessibility and performance enhancements and increasing the resource hub’s perceived reliability.
