Isaiah Alcayde developed a new Education Component for the acm-ucr/CSE-AI-resources repository, focusing on front end development using React and TypeScript. The component features a prominent header, placeholder content, and basic styling to enhance layout and visual separation, supporting improved readability and discovery of educational resources. Isaiah’s implementation established a reusable UI block that enables rapid content population and consistent presentation, laying the groundwork for future enhancements such as dynamic content and accessibility improvements. The work demonstrated clear version control practices and a methodical approach to UI component design, though the scope was limited to a single feature during the month.
