Worked on the polarsource/polar repository to deliver a structured AUP Denial Policy, introducing a Section Picker across multiple backoffice denial dialogs. Leveraged Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy to build an AUPSection enum representing prohibited product categories, updated the database schema with a nullable violated_aup_section column, and implemented validation and rendering logic to ensure consistent user experience and data integrity. Coordinated targeted migrations to maintain schema alignment and improved test coverage for both accepted and rejected submissions. Enabled policy-based analytics in Metabase by structuring denials, and collaborated closely with the team to ensure robust deployment and maintainable codebase practices.
