Used Git and shell scripting to identify and verify two placeholder commits, ensuring they introduced no functional changes or unintended side effects. Addressed one minor bug and documented findings to clarify commit history, helping the team avoid future no-op commits. Prioritized codebase stability and transparency, laying the groundwork for upcoming feature development. This approach supported maintainability and reduced technical debt, ensuring the repository was clean and ready for future enhancements using standard version control practices.
