Developed and delivered the Pipeline Metric Check (FmeMetricCheck) step schema for the harness/harness-schema repository, enabling pipelines to evaluate metrics, define failure criteria, and configure environments for improved monitoring and feature-flag governance. The work involved designing a new schema in JSON and YAML, implementing Guardrail Check semantics to enforce metrics-driven gating, and aligning the schema closely with technical specifications to ensure correctness and compatibility. This approach established a robust foundation for metrics-based gatekeeping in CI/CD workflows, emphasizing schema design and pipeline development while preventing misconfigurations and supporting more controlled, performance-oriented deployment processes within the existing infrastructure.
