Worked on the SpecterOps/AzureHound repository to implement Azure Managed Identity authentication, enabling secure access to Azure resources without relying on static credentials. Leveraging Go and the Azure Identity SDK, the authentication layer was refactored to support Managed Identity, including the addition of a Managed Identity Client ID to the client configuration. This approach reduced credential management overhead and improved security by eliminating static secrets, while also supporting scalable deployment across cloud environments. The work focused on authentication, cloud computing, and SDK integration, resulting in a robust feature addition without major bug fixes during the period, and enhancing deployment automation for users.
