Worked on stabilizing the CineVerse Android application by reverting a previous Firebase integration that had introduced Analytics, Crashlytics, App Performance, and App Distribution services. Focused on removing Firebase plugins and Gradle dependencies, as well as cleaning up related imports and variables in MainActivity.kt, to restore the app’s prior reliable behavior. This approach reduced build complexity and minimized the risk of feature drift, ensuring a stable baseline for future development. Utilized Kotlin and Gradle to manage build configuration and code cleanup. Documented the rationale and impact of these changes to align with the product roadmap and support ongoing Android development efforts.
