Worked on the Submitty/Submitty repository to enhance the grading experience by addressing two key issues affecting usability and workflow. Delivered a fix for BMP image rendering by normalizing MIME types, ensuring images display inline in Chrome and Edge rather than triggering downloads, which streamlines grader interactions. Improved the grading interface by enabling full scrolling and expansion for codeboxes and textboxes, allowing graders to review long responses without editing content. Applied PHP, CSS, and UI/UX design skills to implement these solutions, performing thorough manual end-to-end testing to ensure stability and minimize risk while maintaining the integrity of the grading process.
