Worked on the openmrs/openmrs-esm-patient-management repository to deliver a feature enhancing the QueueEntryActionModal’s time validation logic. Focused on enforcing minute-level precision, the update prevents users from setting a new queue entry’s start time before the previous entry’s start time, thereby improving data integrity and reducing scheduling errors. The implementation involved updating front-end validation in React using TypeScript and JavaScript, as well as writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to cover edge cases in time entry. The work included a targeted fix to truncate the previous queue entry time for accurate validation, contributing to more reliable queue management workflows.
