Worked on stabilizing real-time collaborative editing in the facebook/lexical repository by addressing critical issues related to cursor positioning and collaboration state management. Used TypeScript to deliver targeted bug fixes that improved cursor alignment at element boundaries and enhanced decoding of out-of-range positions, reducing the risk of desynchronization during multi-user editing. Collaborated with other contributors to prevent the creation of empty paragraphs during collaborative undo operations and ensured that non-dirty update tags did not persist, thereby maintaining consistent editor state across peers. Emphasized robust unit testing and code quality throughout the process, focusing on reliable collaborative editing experiences.
