Worked on the tuva-health/tuva repository to deliver a focused feature upgrade centered on data quality and deployment reliability. Upgraded dbt to version 1.9.4 with Fabric adapter support, enabling enhanced data processing and new data quality checks. Refactored existing data quality tests into project-specific expectations, improving maintainability and clarity of validation logic. Updated CI/CD workflows, Python versions, and model configurations to ensure compatibility and smoother deployments. Leveraged Python, SQL, and YAML to implement these changes, emphasizing maintainable and scalable engineering practices. The work addressed both infrastructure and data validation needs, contributing to a more robust and future-ready codebase.
