Focused on aligning the build and test processes with current Node.js standards, the work involved removing Node.js 20.x from the runtime matrix and standardizing on Node.js 22.x. This change reduced maintenance complexity and improved the speed of feedback for code changes. The update was implemented using YAML and leveraged skills in CI/CD and GitHub Actions to streamline the workflow. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering a targeted feature that modernized and simplified the automation process.
