Worked on the Azure/azhpc-images repository to enhance image build reproducibility by delivering NHC versioning and internal file naming consistency. Upgraded the Node Health Check (NHC) tool to version 0.4.5 and implemented a process to normalize internal NHC-related hashes to lowercase, addressing issues with file-name drift and ensuring consistent version management across environments. Focused on build management and version control, the work leveraged Shell scripting to automate these improvements within the image pipeline. These changes streamlined the build process, reduced potential errors from inconsistent file naming, and contributed to more reliable and maintainable infrastructure image builds for future deployments.
