Worked on enhancing the robustness and reliability of the equinor/ert repository by improving the configuration handling for the ert api command-line interface. Focused on enforcing a mandatory configuration argument, the work reduced runtime errors caused by missing parameters and improved user guidance through clearer error feedback. Leveraged Python for CLI development, emphasizing strong error handling and comprehensive unit testing to ensure that the command fails gracefully when required inputs are absent. These changes aligned with ongoing maintainability goals, addressing issue #13685, and contributed to reducing support incidents by strengthening input validation and overall quality of the CLI experience.
