Worked on stabilizing the i18n merge workflow for the 4Science/dspace-angular repository by addressing a Commander library incompatibility in the merge-i18n script. Applied a methodical approach using TypeScript and Node.js to enhance error detection for source and destination directories, resulting in fewer runtime errors and clearer failure signals during localization processes. Focused on defensive error handling and robust directory validation, which improved the reliability of the CI/CD pipeline and reduced production incidents related to localization. Demonstrated full stack development skills by ensuring that the merge process became more predictable and maintainable, supporting smoother internationalization workflows for the project.
