Over a two-month period, contributed backend enhancements to DEFRA’s epr-common-data-api and epr-prn-integration-function repositories, focusing on regulatory data quality and notification reliability. Developed a compliance submission year filter using C# and SQL scripting to improve data integrity for regulatory reporting. Enhanced the PRN dashboard by implementing custom Azure event logging and improving code maintainability through targeted Sonar fixes. In the following month, updated NPWD integration messaging configuration, isolating development notification templates to ensure accurate delivery and reduce misrouting risks. Demonstrated strengths in API development, configuration management, and backend integration, consistently applying unit testing and database management best practices throughout the work.
