Worked on the firelab/windninja repository to enhance contributor governance by updating project documentation and recording the initial GUI-Redesign contribution in the CONTRIBUTORS file. Focused on establishing clear attribution and onboarding processes, this work laid the groundwork for future GUI-related development without introducing product-facing features or bug fixes. The technical approach centered on text-based documentation, ensuring that contributor recognition and governance structures are in place for upcoming iterations. By maintaining codebase stability and prioritizing documentation skills, the developer supported future collaboration and streamlined the process for new contributors engaging with the GUI-Redesign branch, using text and documentation best practices.
