During December 2024, Daniel Lee developed a production-ready Python FastAPI sample project for the daytonaio/daytona repository. He designed and implemented a clean starter template in the sample directory, providing essential files and configurations to demonstrate a basic FastAPI application. Leveraging his skills in API development and backend development, Daniel ensured the template was runnable and well-documented, enabling rapid prototyping and API exploration. This work improved onboarding and demo experiences for both developers and customers by offering a reproducible baseline. The project’s structure supports future feature development and testing, reflecting a focused, foundational contribution within a short timeframe.
