In September 2025, Jingyu Yang integrated the Geolocation WalkScore API into the modelcontextprotocol/servers repository, enhancing the community servers registry with automated walkability, transit, and bike score enrichment. By adding the geolocation-mcp-server entry and wiring WalkScore-based data into the MCP server ecosystem, Jingyu streamlined location-based data enrichment and reduced the need for manual server configuration.
