Worked on the mattermost/docs repository to improve the accuracy of configuration documentation, focusing on the Enable Image Proxy setting. Addressed a documentation bug by updating the default value from true to false, ensuring that user guidance matches the actual system behavior and reducing the risk of misconfiguration. The approach involved careful validation of related configuration files to maintain consistency and prevent future support issues. Delivered a precise, traceable patch using RST for documentation and applied strong attention to detail in technical writing. This work enhanced the maintainability and reliability of the documentation, supporting both users and internal teams.
