Worked on the UTDNebula/jupiter repository to enhance accessibility and improve the robustness of the user interface. Focused on front end development using React and TypeScript, the work centered around implementing screen reader accessibility improvements by systematically adding aria-labels to IconButtons and other UI components. This approach established a scalable pattern for ARIA labeling, ensuring that visually impaired users benefit from improved screen reader support throughout the application. The changes were delivered through two targeted commits, reflecting a methodical and standards-driven approach to accessibility. No bugs were addressed during this period, with all efforts dedicated to feature development and UI inclusivity.
