Developed and delivered a Helm-based deployment solution for the mendableai/firecrawl repository, enabling self-hosted deployment of the Firecrawl application on Kubernetes. The work involved creating Helm templates and values in YAML and Shell to provision the API, worker, Playwright service, and Redis as a cohesive stack. Comprehensive deployment and management instructions were provided to streamline onboarding and operational processes for self-hosted users. This approach improved reproducibility, scalability, and environment consistency by leveraging Helm and Kubernetes best practices. The solution reduced onboarding time and support overhead, focusing on cloud deployment and DevOps principles to enhance operational efficiency for Firecrawl deployments.
