Worked on improving packaging reliability and licensing compliance across the pgEdge/spock and pgEdge/cli repositories. Addressed packaging workflows by implementing DESTDIR-aware install paths in Makefile for spockctrl, ensuring files installed correctly into the build root during Postgres and extension package builds. This change enhanced reproducibility and reduced downstream distribution risks. In pgEdge/cli, focused on standardizing licensing metadata by updating LICENSE.md and SQL version files to reflect accurate PostgreSQL licensing, improving audit readiness. Utilized Makefile and SQL, applying skills in build systems, documentation, and system administration to resolve two bugs and support maintainable, compliant, and reproducible deployment processes.
