Worked on the Azure/missionlz repository to enhance cloud security and deployment reliability by implementing Defender for Cloud MMA Agent autoprovisioning control and environment validation. Leveraged Bicep for Infrastructure as Code to set the default MMA agent autoprovisioning to false, reducing unintended deployments and optimizing resource usage. Introduced environment validation checks within the autoprovisioning workflow to prevent misconfigurations across different environments. Additionally, developed a GitHub Action to build Bicep files into JSON, improving deployment control and ensuring compatibility across environments. Focused on Azure cloud security best practices, the work emphasized automation, cross-environment consistency, and robust infrastructure management without addressing bug fixes.
