Worked on the hackclub/dns repository to enhance email reliability for stasis.hackclub.com by updating DNS configurations. Addressed a bug by migrating email handling to Google Workspace, implementing new MX and TXT records, and adding SPF verifications to ensure proper domain authentication. To maintain uninterrupted web traffic after removing the CNAME, introduced an A record pointing to the appropriate server. All changes were documented with clear commit messages for traceability and future audits. Utilized DNS management and network configuration skills, leveraging YAML for configuration updates. The work focused on operational continuity and transparent documentation rather than introducing new features during this period.
