Worked on DNS optimization and maintainability improvements for the hackclub/dns repository, focusing on the French subdomain fr.dino.icu. Implemented a targeted change by replacing the existing CNAME record with an A-record, allowing direct IP resolution and reducing the DNS lookup chain. This adjustment aimed to enhance DNS resolution performance and reliability in line with infrastructure goals. Additionally, alphabetized DNS records within the YAML configuration to streamline future maintenance and minimize configuration errors. The work leveraged skills in DNS management, network configuration, and YAML, resulting in a more maintainable and efficient DNS setup for the targeted subdomain during the project period.
