Worked on the Max-Eee/E-commerce-recommender project, focusing on improving the checkout process by addressing a reliability issue in the billing city input. Identified and fixed a missing onChange handler, which previously led to data loss and potential order failures during address entry. This solution ensured that user input for the billing city was consistently captured and processed, resulting in a smoother checkout experience and more accurate address data. Utilized front end development skills with React, leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript to implement and test the fix. The work emphasized careful attention to user data integrity and seamless form handling.
