During July 2025, work focused on enhancing the Shopify/ruby-lsp repository by upgrading documentation media formats to improve both performance and user experience. The developer refactored existing documentation, replacing GIFs with MP4 videos, which reduced load times and provided smoother playback for users referencing the documentation. This effort involved video editing and careful integration of new media assets, leveraging skills in Ruby and Markdown to ensure seamless updates within the documentation framework. The work also drew on experience with VS Code extension development to maintain compatibility and usability. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted feature.
