He implemented automated agent metadata uploads and versioned release workflows using Go, YAML, and GitHub Actions, reducing manual intervention and improving deployment reliability. Jorge also integrated FleetControl metadata and automated Helm chart releases, leveraging GitOps and CI/CD practices to centralize fleet management. His work included cross-platform deployment refinements for Linux and Windows, configuration file reorganization, and robust error handling, resulting in more accurate metadata reporting and streamlined infrastructure management for New Relic’s agent ecosystem.
