Worked on the ansible/eda-server repository, focusing on backend reliability and CI/CD modernization. Addressed a critical edge case by implementing a guard in Django and Python APIs to prevent deletion of projects during active synchronization, ensuring consistent state and clear HTTP signaling for callers. Later, modernized the CI/CD pipeline by integrating Codecov with OIDC authentication in GitHub Actions, streamlining configuration and reducing maintenance overhead. Leveraged YAML for workflow definitions and improved telemetry by enabling Codecov flag analytics. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to backend safety and deployment automation, directly reducing operational risk and supporting future development velocity.
