During January 2025, JDJGYA focused on updating the licensing framework for the bigstack-oss/cube-cos-api repository, replacing the MIT license with the Apache License 2.0. This work involved a comprehensive review and update of all relevant documentation and repository files to ensure consistency and compliance with open-source standards. JDJGYA applied skills in repository maintenance, documentation management, and open-source licensing policy assessment, using tools such as Git and Markdown. The update clarified legal terms for users and contributors, supporting broader adoption and smoother collaboration. While the work was limited in scope, it addressed a foundational compliance need for the project.
