During the month, contributed to the androidx/androidx repository by addressing a critical stability issue in Android build processes involving generated sources. Focused on improving the reliability of AGP-based projects, the work involved stabilizing the build variant dependency chain by migrating task dependencies to Provider<?> through the Variant API. This technical approach replaced the use of srcDir, reducing incremental build failures and ensuring correct dependency wiring for generated sources. The solution was implemented with minimal code changes, prioritizing safety and clarity. Leveraged expertise in Android development, Gradle, Groovy, and Java to deliver a targeted bug fix that enhances build consistency and maintainability.
