Worked on the buildkite/test-engine-client repository to deliver a feature enhancing Playwright reporting integration for continuous integration workflows. Developed a solution in Go that allows the Playwright JSON reporter output path to be configured via environment variables rather than CLI arguments, reducing coupling and improving compatibility with reporting dashboards. Focused on backend development, the approach centralized configuration, enabling CI and reporting tools to reliably locate and render test results across different environments. No high-severity bugs were reported during this period, as efforts were concentrated on robust feature delivery and maintaining code quality within the internal/runner/playwright.go component of the project.
