Worked on the PrestaShop/autoupgrade repository to deliver a custom property definition registry as part of the 9.2.0 upgrade. Designed and implemented a new database table, using SQL and database schema design skills, to store metadata for custom properties across multiple entities. Integrated the creation and migration of this registry table directly into the upgrade script, ensuring a seamless transition for users updating to the new version. This approach established a standardized mechanism for managing extensible properties, allowing future features to be added without further schema changes. The work focused on maintainability and extensibility, laying groundwork for future enhancements.
