In the GaetanLepage/nixpkgs repository, addressed line-ending inconsistencies in Epson-escpr packaging by applying dos2unix selectively during the patch phase, which preserved the configure script and maintained install layout integrity. Later, contributed to Shopify/nixpkgs by updating the timetrap package for Ruby 3.4 compatibility, resolving missing extension warnings and aligning upgrade paths to prevent regressions. Used Nix and Ruby to deliver targeted bug fixes, emphasizing reproducibility, dependency management, and clear documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future version migrations.
