Worked on the mason-org/mason-registry repository to deliver a code formatting integration that standardized development workflows. Implemented dependency and package management by adding Black as a dependency and configuring Darker to use Black for automated code formatting. Leveraged YAML for configuration, ensuring that formatting rules were consistently applied across the codebase. This integration reduced formatting-related diffs and streamlined pull request reviews, aligning with project quality goals and improving the developer experience. The approach enabled automated formatting alignment before merges, supporting downstream users with consistent code standards. The work focused on maintainability and traceability, with clear commit references for future audits.
