Worked on the mealie-recipes/mealie repository to address a persistent issue with menu auto-close behavior, focusing on improving navigation reliability and user experience. Using Nuxt.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript, adjusted the global scroll strategy so that menus no longer remain fixed open when users interact with other UI elements. This targeted bug fix ensured that menus close reliably across various user flows, reducing confusion in menu-heavy interfaces and aligning with design expectations. The solution was delivered as a single, well-documented commit with a concise review trail, demonstrating attention to detail and a methodical approach to front end development and user interface consistency.
