Over a two-month period, contributed backend development and documentation enhancements across the modelcontextprotocol/servers and thingsboard/langchain4j repositories. Developed a comprehensive reference guide in Markdown for interacting with WildFly MCP servers, streamlining onboarding and improving operational safety for LLM-based automation. In Java, implemented explicit error handling for MCP Tool execution, introducing clearer diagnostic responses and updating integration tests to cover new error scenarios. This work improved tool reliability and reduced debugging time for dependent workflows. Focused on robust error handling, integration testing, and clear documentation, the contributions addressed operational risks and enabled more reliable, maintainable automation for server interactions and tool execution.
