During September 2025, Frazier focused on stabilizing the FTorch build system in the Cambridge-ICCS/FTorch repository, addressing a critical issue in CMake environment variable checks. By refining the build system configuration, Frazier ensured that builds would proceed smoothly even when Python virtual environments such as virtualenv or Conda were not activated, eliminating unnecessary build failures. This work involved debugging and updating CMakeLists.txt to handle environment detection more robustly, directly improving CI reliability and developer productivity. Frazier demonstrated strong skills in CMake and Python environment management, delivering a targeted solution that enhanced the operational confidence and release readiness of the project.
