During June 2025, contributed to the exelearning/exelearning repository by developing a component-based User Data Retrieval API, enabling efficient access to user information via component IDs and returning results in JSON format. This work leveraged JavaScript and PHP for backend development and API integration, focusing on improving data accessibility for downstream services and user interfaces. Additionally, undertook a comprehensive code refactoring effort by removing all deprecated second platform integrations, including related controllers and services, which streamlined the codebase and reduced maintenance overhead. These changes enhanced the project’s scalability, lowered security risks, and positioned the backend for future feature expansion and easier upkeep.
June 2025 at exelearning/exelearning delivered a new Component-based User Data Retrieval API to fetch user data by component ID and return JSON, enabling downstream services and UIs to access user information efficiently. It also completed a major cleanup by removing deprecated second platform integrations (controllers, services, and logic), reducing maintenance burden and potential integration bugs. These changes improve data accessibility, simplify the codebase, and position the project for scalable feature work.
